PIMPOLINA'S DREAMS

HUMOR AND PANTOMIME SHOW FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILY audience

Direction: Andrea Christiansen

Production: Andrea Christiansen

Cast: Andrea Christiansen and Gerson Martínez

SyNOPSIS

An agile and dynamic work in which children and adults participate with enthusiasm. The action takes place somewhere in the world, on a circus ring where a man (Rafa) and a woman (Pimpolina) meet.

At first, she is just a restless and dreamy little clown willing to enjoy any time anywhere. Hers is a "forbidden all" man who gets upset when he sees her joy and the ability to generate magical moments in the middle of nowhere. In this tug of war between those who prohibit and those who seek a thousand and one ways to be free, the public plays a leading role. The children vote for the clown who is charming and the adults enthusiastically applaud the occurrences of the little ones.

The tenderness of these characters is the key that opens all the locks of the soul. Through the techniques of pantomime and the execution of various musical instruments, the performers spin a narrative that is clear, although no less complex. But at no time is the ability of the child viewer to be in doubt. On the contrary, Pimpolina speaks of freedom. And the kids, they know what it's about.
